Show Turn Down Scholarship Editor: Until two or three weeks ago I thought Americans were making reasonable progress away from the old philosophy of "separate but equal" facilities for the various races. My illusions were shattered when the dogma again reared its ugly head in the form of a student-organized student-organized charity (SEEK) to provide pro-vide educational help for "members "mem-bers of minority groups." 1 , A noble gesture, I'm sure, but j what member of what minority group ever asked for a special charity? You've already given them special schools and rest-rooms, rest-rooms, and they were rejected in favor of equal access to your schools and rest-rooms. Hopefully, the "members of minority groups" will have the dignity and the courage cour-age to turn down this special scholarship schol-arship in favor of equal access to , all scholarships.
