Bright oranges, yellows, and reds' should prove to be a popular mode of fashion for all skiers. Parkas continue to be popular in the long style, and with a new goose down material, will be lighter and warmer. warm-er. As far as equipment goes, the new word is the fiberglass ski. Af ter a decade of metal ski dominance, domin-ance, this year will be the first season sea-son that the fiberglass ski will make a major appearance on the skiing scene. Also, plastic boots have become a popular model, replacing re-placing heavier models. All in all, the sport of skiing continues con-tinues to progress into the best equipment and ski wear for the most enjoyment for the participant in one of America's fastest growing forms of recreation. This was the word given by Steve Ellsworth of the Mountaineer, a winter sports clothing shop located at 207 South on Thirteenth East. Ellsworth stated that a new trend more synthetic materials was becoming be-coming quite popular in the Salt Lake area. Parkas and ski pants are the more popular items in this trend, and should be a popular sight at the Utah resorts this winter.
