We could not reasonably expect to have a parking job done so soon. At present the children have the choice of wading thru weeds and rubbish to play "cop and robbers" or risk their necks on the antiquated equipment we now have. I understand that there have four or five broken ; arms as a result of the use of the "slide" on the playground. Isn't there something that the citizens of this city can do to 1 remedy a condition of this sort? I A Parent f . . We were very interested to learn thu your editorial of an issue or so ago, that the rest of the country was observing "Child Safety" week. We wish that the School Board was concerning con-cerning themselves with the safety of our school children here in Milford. In spite of continual griping for the past seven years or so, we still have to watch cars, trucks, and vehicles of all types and sizes, go driving recklessly right thru our grade school , grounds, altho there never should have been any kind of road tolerated there. It is bad enough that our children are not privileged to enjoy a nice green lawn around the school, as they would no doubt enjoy if the school were located in any other part of the county.
