Show Mrs. D. L. Kesler left Tuesday Tues-day evening for Salt Lake, where she will attend the L D S Conference this week-end. Mrs. Lucille Raines has purchased pur-chased the Brown home on Main street. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers of Milford will hold their opening meeting October 6th at the home of Mrs. Ethel Nielsen. All regular, eligible and registered regis-tered members are urged to be present. . Mrs. Lou Moore is in Provo .visiting with her. son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs Harvey Voorhees. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker and Mrs. Tommie James were in Beaver Sunday visiting with their folks. Mrs.' Carl Rummler and son Billie left Thursday for Salt Lake, where Billie will receive medical treatment. Mrs. Lester Gustin, mother of Mrs. Jim Smithson, and two sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Lee Gustin and Mrs. Frank Zink and son Richard, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smithson. Mr and Mrs. M. W. Henkel and Mrs. M. I. Walters and daughter Francis, motored to Oakland, Calif. Mrs. Walters was called to Oakland because of the serious illness of her father. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. White attended at-tended the funeral of William Benjamin Gardner at Salt Lake, last Wednesday. G. I. A. Ladies attending the funeral of Mr. John Killam in Cedar City, Sept. 23, were Mrs. K. B. Colborn, Mrs. Kenneth Hollis, Mrs. W. G. White, Mrs. James Holm, Mrs. Vern Shingle-ton, Shingle-ton, Mrs. Grover Cuddy, Mrs. Fay Bradfield, Mrs. Ronald Bat;'' ..a Mrs. Owen R Smith. Mis. Killam is a charter member mem-ber of this Division. Mr. "and Mrs. Owen R. Smith spent the v. Vek-end in Salt Lake with their three sons. Albert, who had returned to Salt Lake after a summer's employment with the Bureau of Mines at Encampment, En-campment, Wyo., registered Friday Fri-day at the University of Utah as a senior in Mining Engineering. Mrs. Allen Hedges of Salt Lake City spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. Dan James, and family. Father T. Halloran of Richfield Rich-field spent a few .J-vS in Milford this week. - Father J H. Valine made a business trip to Salt Lake, Wednesday. |
