Show - r 4 pjH Miss Susan Hatch Late summer wedding set for Susan Hatch, Mike Lauritzen Announcement is being made this week of the engagement engage-ment and approaching marriage of Miss Susan Hatch, attractive at-tractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Dee Hatch, and Michael Alan Lauritzen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth A. Lauritzen, all of Springville. The marriage is to take place August 21 in the Salt Lake Temple. A wedding reception honoring the newly-weds newly-weds will be given the same evening in Springville Stake House hosted by parents of the bride. Miss Hatch is a graduate of Springville High School where she was a member of the Devil Debs. She sang with the a cappella choir two years and was active in many clubs and activities. She attended Utah State University her freshman fresh-man year then transferred to Brigham Young University. This fall she will enroll as a junior there majoring in elementary elemen-tary education and minoring in art. A graduate of Springville High School, Mr. Lauritzen is a junior at BYU with a major in electronics technology and computer science. For the last two years he has been active in the Air Force ROTC and has passed requirements for becoming an Air Force pilot. The young couple plans to graduate from BYU, and will make their home in Provo while they finish their edu-cation. |
