Show Mrs. Alice Wilmott and her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Giles and two children, Lynn and Teresa Ann, have returned from Po-way Po-way California, where they visited vis-ited with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Lorin (Vera) Ellsworth Ells-worth and three sons, Randy, Craig and Kevin. They went to the beach, Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, the zoo and the new Sea World. On their return home they stopped to see the Hoover Dam and many other interesting sights along the way. In St. George they bought some fresh peaches to bring home. Mrs. Edgard Simoa and four children, Zackary, Brenda, Rol-lin Rol-lin and Jackie are visiting in Springville with an aunt, Mrs. Alice Wilmott. The Simoa family lives in Makaweli, Ka-wai, Ka-wai, Hawaii and will be here for a month. Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Dalton had their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Al (Mala-cha) (Mala-cha) Knoll and three children visiting with them last week. Their son had just returned from IV2 years in Turkey in the Air Force and this was a delightful welcome home for him and provided a nice visit for the Knolls who are from Denver, Colorado. Also visiting at the Dalton home were a son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dalton and two sons who spent twp weeks visiting in Springville and Payson, with friends and relatives. They are presently residing in Marina Del Rey. California. Earlier in July grandchildren of the Daltons, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Patrick's four children spent a week here with grandparents, grand-parents, the John Patricks. They are from Torrence, California. Calif-ornia. Taken to hospital Mrs. Arthur Wing was taken to the Utah Valley Hospital Sunday due to a heart condition. Enjoy steak fry Members of the high priest group of the Sixth Ward held a steak fry at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Gledhill, Friday evening to which there were about 50 members and partners attending. Following the dinner the group was entertained by Richard Conover and Merrill Christensen with their mandolin mando-lin and guitar. Home from hospital Mrs. Carl Lind was expected home yesterday from the Pay-son Pay-son Hospital after being confined con-fined since last Friday with a back injury suffered from a fall at her home. She will be taking further treatments for the injury. |
