Richmond of Mapleton, became the bride of Tadd K. Hubbard of Orem in the Logan LDS Temple, July 11. The groom is the son of Mrs. Va-lene Va-lene Hubbard of Orem and Robert Ro-bert Leo Hubbard, Ankeny, Iowa. The newlyweds honeymooned honey-mooned in Jackson, Wyoming. A reception was held that evening in the Mapleton Church by the bride's parents in honor of the newlyweds. For the reception the bride wore a delustered satin gown with empire em-pire waist and a lace over skirt with a rolled neckline, long sleeves with lace cuff and a satin bow tied at the waistline waist-line in the front of the dress. Her veil was of sheer illusion and was caught by a cluster of white rose buds. Her flowers were of miniature pink carnations carna-tions with ribbon streamers. She was attended by Ann Behrmann as maid of honor with Jenny Richmond, a cousin; cou-sin; ' Peggy Richmond, sister; Sherry Lowe, Nancy Richmond, sisters, as bridesmaids with Laurie and Myra Richmond, sisters, as flower girls. They all carried pink, long-stemmed carnations and wore pink and white dotted Swiss with an empire waist. Best man was Bruce Hubbard, Hub-bard, brother of the groom. The bride's mother's dress was hot pink, long sleeves, ruffled ruf-fled at the neck and sleeves. The groom's mother wore a pink dotted Swiss with elbow-length elbow-length sleeves. Their corsages were of carnations. Greeting the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roberts, great aunt and uncle of the bride; and Mr. and Mrs. Vance E. Calder, aunt and uncle of the groom. Ushers were Brent Richmond, brother of the bride, and Val Hubbard, brother of the groom. At the guest register was Irene Hubbard, sister of the groom. In the gift room were Mrs. Gary Hubbard and Mrs. Bruce Hubbard, sisters-in-law, Joyce Calder, cousin of the groom. Serving were Gloria Goodrich, cousin of the bride; Sharolyn Davies, Carolyn Harder Hard-er and Karen Peay. The wedding cake was decorated decor-ated with pink roebuds with lattice surrounding the cake and topped with a miniature temple. Parents of the groom hosted the wedding party at a wedding wed-ding breakfast in Bountiful. |
