Show ITIapletonews Orpha Dee Johnson 489-5725 Friends of the Lyle Paulson's Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Fields of Salt Lake City spent the day on the 24th in Mapleton. They are formerly of Kitchener. Canada. Mr .and Mrs. R. W. Davidson with son, Warren and his wife. Cynthia, spent a week in beautiful beau-tiful Couer d' Alene, Idaho. They are now expecting a visit from daughtei, Joan Haskins and five children ot Whittiei. California. Mi. Haskins is assistant as-sistant superintendent of the schools there. Warren and Cynthia Cyn-thia will be locating in Dur-ango, Dur-ango, Colorado, where he will teach Spanish in the high school. Mi. and Mrs. Dal Peterson have moved to Mapleton from Provo. Seven lively children are enjoying the spacious new home recently acquired! from Dr. Kenneth Brown. Word is that the Browns are now in Hawaii. Mr. Peterson'ss oca-tion oca-tion is land and mineral development. devel-opment. Bert Gividen and family of five are here for a three week vacation from Riverside, California. Calif-ornia. They will be visiting in Mapleton and with Val's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Tip-petts Tip-petts of Springville. Georgene Harris, a sistei of Bert and husband, John, a professsional Navy man, are being transferred transfer-red from San Diego to Illinois and are staying here with Mr. and Mrs. Vance Gividen for a few days. The man who held John Hol-ley Hol-ley up for thirty loaves of bread turned cut to be his grandson on a surprise visit from Vista, California. Ron Holley and family stopped at the station on their way to Ogden and Idaho on a combined vacation and business trip. Ron is cc-owner of a meat packing firm. They have four darling daughters, ages two, four, six and eight. |
