Show Annual All Arabian Horse Show for state opens July 10, 11, 12 It has been estimated there are now more Arabian horses in Utah and California alone than in all of Arabia. Certainly Certain-ly there are no more devoted and proud owners than those lucky enough to own Arabians, and great All Arabian Horse and the public will see this pride and devotion in action at Horse Show. One of the West's major horse show entries, the 16th Annual All Arabian Horse Show is scheduled for the Murray Mur-ray Fairgrounds, July 10, 11 and 12. In addition to the pageantry and beauty of the Arabians on display, a new feature this year will be racing for a $100 purse, Thursday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. President of the Utah Arabian Ara-bian Horse Club, Dr. Blake Gammell of Springville, announced an-nounced halter class showing will be held at 8:30 a.m. and performance events at 8:00 p.m. "In addition to the racing, performance events will include cow cutting, barrell racing, English, Western, obstacle course and costume class," Dr. Gammell said. "As usual, we will be playing host to major breeders from all over the western states showing show-ing many national champions. This will be our biggest show yet," Dr. Gammell stated. Admission is by donation to help defray show expenses, youngsters 12 and under will be admitted free with their families. |
