Show Special event here marks annual Library Week i f - . '- . ' , J . Commemorating National Li-brarj' Li-brarj' Week, Mrs. Robert L. Springmeyer of Salt Lake City, a former well-known resident of Springville, will give a book review for the public, Saturday at 2 p.m., at the library. The book, entitled "Christy," by Katherine Marshall, is the story of a young school teacher tea-cher in the Applacian Mountains Moun-tains and is on the best seller list, according to PauJa Jones, city librarian in charge of arrangements. ar-rangements. Mrs. Springmeyer, the former form-er Venice Whiting, daughter of Mrs. Beulah Whiting of this city, graduated from BYU with a major in speech and taught for a time in Springville. Spring-ville. She has lived in Salt Lake City 17 years, and has been employed with the Salt Lake County Library eight years. Her husband is a well-known architect. She is a certified librarian li-brarian and her services are in demand for book reviews.
