Show Marching meet by Pep Clubs to be part of BYU Invitational ! A Cougarette Invitational "marching meet" will be held in conjunction with Brigham Young University's 55th Annual An-nual Invitational Track and Field Meet Saturday afternoon. j Sponsored by the Women's j Physical Education D e p a rt- ; ment,, the precision marching 5 is being directed by the Cou- ; garettes, BYU's high-stepping f group made up of freshmen and j sophomore girls. Their com- j mandant this year is Pat Lar- j sen. j High school marching units . from Utah and Idaho will participate par-ticipate with the Cougarettes in the 12:30 p.m. ceremonies that open the meet. There will be 916 girls in their own uniforms uni-forms marching in Cougar Stadium. Schools represented will be Murray, Spanish Fork, South High, Juab, Uintah, Olympus, ' Granger, Orem, Hillcrest, Gran-ite, Gran-ite, Millard, Wasatch, Piute, Box Elder, Beaver, Ben Lomond Lo-mond Delta, Duchesne, Grants-ville, Grants-ville, Provo and Burley. Track and field events will follow the marching event as finalists will be seen in the home stretch of the Invitational. Invitation-al.
