Show High School Pep Club busy group Springville High School's pep club, the Devil Debs, is preparing pre-paring several events to take place soon. Members will travel trav-el to Snow College, Saturday, April 20 for the college's yearly invitational. The early afternoon after-noon will be spent in competition competi-tion with other marching groups. The club will perform marches taught by Barbara Clyde and Pat James; the entrance en-trance and exit by Jessie Johnson. John-son. During this week and until April 24, girls wishing to try out for the club next year, will be getting marches ready to perform for judges from BYU Cougarettes. Present members are teaching teach-ing and assisting these prospective pros-pective members after school. The Debs are traveling to BYU Saturday, April 27, to participate in their annual invitational in-vitational marching events. The Cougarettes have prepared Glenda Johnson and Brenda Smith to teach a march for all participants to perform. The march the Devil Debs picked from their repertoire, is taught by Barbara Clyde to "Music to Watch Girls By." Mrs. Ada McConnell of Sutherland, Su-therland, Nebraska, visited last week with an aunt, Mrs. Emma Em-ma Kennedy in Springville and with other relatives in Salt Lake City. She came especially to see their son, Morris, who is enrolled at Weber College, Ogden. |
