Paul Walker, Frank's grandfather, grand-father, has inspired Frank tc seek a career in education; probably as a teacher. With a goal to reach and high principles prin-ciples taught to him by hi parents, Frank hopes tc achieve. Marie Calder Glen and Shirley Calder are parents of eight children one of whom is Marie, citizen of the week. Marie keeps busy practicing prac-ticing piano, hooking rugs, painting landscape, sketching pictures, playing violin, reading read-ing books, and watching television. tele-vision. In her spare time she helps her mother around the house, helps with the yard work, helps in the orchard and still finds plenty of time to study and be a top-rate student. stu-dent. In addition she is active in her church. Volleyball, baseball, base-ball, basketball and swimming are her favorite sports. Marie says their little farm has everything on it but a pig and a horse. The experiences Marie has with her family at home have made her what she is. A radiant smile and pleasing personality are her trademarks She has no favorite class; she likes school in general. Her goals are to go to college, get married and live in Europe. Our school is better for having hav-ing had Marie as a fine student and outstanding citizen. Frank Strong The parents of Frank Strong are John and Annalee. Frank is one of six children and lives in Brookside. Because Mr. Strong is employed in construction, con-struction, Frank has had the opportunity of going with his family every summer to interesting inter-esting places and more or less roughing it. School is a favorite pastime. Frank enjoys all of his classes and radiates with enthusiasm for learning. He likes to experiment ex-periment with electricity and really enjoys telivision. Because there is just one girl in the family, Frank finds himself helping around the home to lighten his mother's load.
