Show Auxiliary presidents at breakfast Approximately seventy past presidents of the American Legion Le-gion Auxiliary In district 4, comprising Utah and Juab counties, gathered at Memorial Hall Saturday morning for breakfast. The SpringviUe unit was hosts. President Lela Nelson Nel-son presided. A number of department and district officers were in attendance at-tendance including President Hazel Ramson of Brigham City; Secretary Maxine Bishop Bish-op of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edith Bonner, national executive execu-tive commmitteewoman, Salt Lake, and Mrs. Etta Nelson, membership chairman, Logan; Sophia Curtis, Payson, district president; Gwen Bench, Orem, district historian; Afton Oborn, Payson, district vice president. The program featured accor-lian accor-lian selections by Keith Lewis and dance numbers by Shirley Jacobsen. Under direction of Clara Sumsion, poppy poster chairman, chair-man, a large display of posters were exhibited. The breakfast tables were attractively at-tractively decorated with green sprays and large red poppies. A Hawaiian theme was carried 3ut and vari-colored leis were presented guests as they arrived. |
