Show City receives f ederal allocation recommendation. This motion passed unanimously. Mays Anderson met with the council in regards to the road extension on his property located lo-cated just off the Canyon Road. They discussed some of the problems in connection with this roadway. T. R. Pope, the golf course club house architect, met with the council to present a preliminary pre-liminary model and plans of the club house to be built a.t the golf course. After some discussions dis-cussions and recommendations, Mr. Pope was instructed to move ahead on the plans and specifications. CI. Peay made a motion with a second by CI. Creer that the city accept the proposed Special Spec-ial Improvement District No. 13 as presented by the Streets Department. This action passed unanimously. Springville City has received a $63,490 grant f rom the Federal Fed-eral Water Pollution Control Administration for the improvement im-provement and extension of an existing secondary sewage treatment plant, Sen. Wallace F. Bennett, R-Utah reported today. The total cost of the project is $192,400. The Interior Depart m e n t, which runs the Federal Water Pollution Control Office, told Sen. Bennett approval of the grant will be mailed to Springville Spring-ville Mayor F. Calvin Packard immediately. City councilmen awarded the bid for furnishing city vehicles with fuel, approved a conditional condition-al bid for supplying pipe and materials for the sprinkling system at the Evergreen Cemetery, Cem-etery, accepted a recommendation recommenda-tion by Arvil Bird for annexing annex-ing his property and considered other matters at the council meeting Monday night. Bids were opened for supplying supply-ing the city with gasoline and diesal fuel for a year, beginning begin-ning April 21, 1968 through April 22, 1969. The bids were as follows: American Oil Co., Super Premium Gasoline 15.60 per gallon, regular gasoline 13.10 per gallon and diesel fuel, 12.50 per gallon; Continental Oil Company, premium gaso- line 15.64 per gallon, regular 13.64 per gallon and diesel 12.-64 12.-64 per gallon; Sinclair Refining Refin-ing Company, premium gasoline gaso-line 16.16 per gallon, regular gasoline 13.91 per gallon and diesel fuel 11.43 per gallon.
