Show Salt Lake and Dr. and Mrs. Dee Sanford, Menlo Park, Calf. Three Liahoma groups of the Mapleton Second Ward held an early morning breakfast at the City Park Tuesday morning. Special guest was Kay Prest-wich, Prest-wich, Primary counselor. Softball Soft-ball and other activities were enjoyed. Teachers in attendance included Vanda Jensen, Delia Christensen, Virginia Hall. Mapleton News Mrs. Blake Everett Mapleton people on vacations Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Averett and family of Mapleton and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Averett of Springville have just returned from a three week vacation trip to Mexico City. They en- tered Mexico at Nogalis on the west coast and traveled through the western part of the country to Mexico City, then went up the east coast to Eagle Pass, Texas. They camped along the way and enjoyed en-joyed the trip very much. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Kilpack (Vicky Averett) who have been living in Illinois, visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar La-Mar Averett for a few days before they left for Mexico. They then visited his parents for a couple of weeks before going to Grand Fork, North Dakota, where he will be stationed sta-tioned with the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Allan Al-lan had a family dinner at their home recently. It was the first time that all members of their immediate family have been together for a year or two. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mal-heiro Mal-heiro and family of Idaho Falls spent a week with them and David Allan of Boulder, Colorado, Colo-rado, were here for a two day visit, after taking a group from his ward down the Yampa River. Other family members, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Allan and children of Springville and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Strong and baby of Springville joined the group for the dinner party. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Johnson had a number of visitors this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Jackson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, spent a week with them. Mr. Jackson is a nephew of Mrs. Johnson, and is a retired re-tired navy officer. Also visiting visit-ing for a few days during the week was their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. . Nebel of Medicine Bow, Wyoming. They came to get their daughter, Kim, who has been visiting here for two weeks. Others who visited briefly with them were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Borem of American Ameri-can Fork and Mr .and Mrs. Lofter Johnson of San Diego, California. ' Mr. and Mrs. Bob Yates (Kathleen Chi'ds) and their family, of San Jose, Calif., have returned to their home after spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Maurine Childs and brothers and sisters and with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Daybell and family of Mapleton. The Yates were here for the funeral funer-al of her father, Myron Childs, which was held on Saturday. Many visitors were in town Saturday night for the Class of '36 Reunion which was held in the art building.
