Show Dinner tonight to honor George Jedenoff Utah Valley and state civic and governmental organizations are uniting tonight, Thursday, to pay tribute to George A. Jedenoff, general superintendent superinten-dent of U. S. Steel's Geneva Works. Mr. Jedenoff, who is leaving Utah next week to take a new post as general superintendent of U.S. Steel's Gary Works at Gary, Indiana, has left an indelible in-delible mark of civic participation participa-tion and leadership in his seven sev-en years in the state. The testimonial dinner for Mr. Jedenoff will be held at 7 p.m. at the Wilkinson Center of Brigham Young University. Among the dignitaries who will speak briefly will be Gov. Calvin Cal-vin L. Rampton, Ernest L. Wilkinson, Wil-kinson, president of BYU, N. Eldon Tanner, of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Verl G. Dixon, mayor of Provo. Paul Thorn of the ' Utah Manufacturers Association will serve as master of ceremonies. Other participants in the program pro-gram will include Ben E. Lewis, Lew-is, vice president of BYU, Floyd Harmer of the Utah County Commission, Grant Thorn president of UVIDA, Brent Farley and Neal L. Adams, Ad-ams, writers of the Geneva Works Errors Zero song, and the Rev. Stuart W. Olbrich of the Community Congregational Church. |
