Rodeo chairman Paul Cher-rington Cher-rington of Mapleton is in charge of the event and promises prom-ises thrills and spills aplenty with the professional stock provided pro-vided for the amateur riders. Ned Shoell, riding club president, presi-dent, is extending an invitation to all citizens to be in attendance. attend-ance. There are still openings for ! entries in the events with the exception of the Brahma Bull riding contest. These events in- !i elude bare backs, saddle broncs, ! calf roping, wild cow milking, !: girls' barrel racing and the kids' wrist watch scramble. j Anyone wishing to enter may j contact Mr. Schoell. Of special interest this year is the kids' wrist watch scramble. scram-ble. Any youngsters 12 years and under may enter this event. The wrist watch will be put around the calf's neck and turned loose and the youngster young-ster who .catches him may claim the wrist watch. The event should provoke much entertainment en-tertainment and excitement. Riding club royalty will be featured at the rodeo with Pat Oldroyd selected as rodeo queen. The Hobble Creek Riding Rid-ing Club will also be seen in their perfected drill routine during the rodeo, along with other specialty acts.
