Adeline Lopez, who celebrated cel-ebrated her 75th birthday Sunday with a family party. 75th birthday noted at family party Celebrating her 75th birthday, birth-day, Mrs. Adeline Lopez, 330 East Fourth South, was guest of honor at a family get-together Sunday at the home of a daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ferran. Mrs. Lopez was born in Gal-lina, Gal-lina, N. M. May 1, 1891 and spent her very early life in that community. Most of her married life was spent in Mon-ticello Mon-ticello from where she and her husband Hermin Lopez resided from 1914 until 1962, when they came to Springville. Mr. Lopez died here in 1962. Mrs. Lopez served as president presi-dent of the Altar Society a number of years while at Mon-ticello. Mon-ticello. She raised beautiful flowers and does lovely handiwork handi-work as hobbies. She is a member of the Roman Catholic Church. During her earlier life, she traveled extensively. She is the mother of eleven sons and daughters, eight of whom are living: Tony Lopez, Dragerton; Horace Lopez, California; Cal-ifornia; Mrs. Joe Paz, Niles, California; Emilio Lopez, Al-bequerque, Al-bequerque, N.M.; Eugene Lopez, Lo-pez, Santa Fe, N.M.; Art Lopez, Lo-pez, Orem; Adelina Baker, In-lian In-lian Springs, Nevada; Mrs. Joe Ferran, Springville. There are 39 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Don Frand-sen Frand-sen and young daughter have come from Fort Rucker, Ala., to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Frandsen and especially es-pecially to see his father who is ill. |
