Show Novelty Circle lists officers, plans program July was the month chosen by the members of the Novelty Circle to resume the year's activities. ac-tivities. Final initiations were held at the home of Phyllis Whiting, a senior club member mem-ber which was the climax to a year of initiations for pledges. Also during the month, Connie Con-nie Weight hosted a lovely garden gar-den dinner for the girls about to take the club's pledge at formal initiations. Copies of the constitution were given new members along with a beautiful white carnation. Elections Elec-tions were also held, the results of which are: Connie Weight, president; Cindy Hardy, vice president; Marcia Shepherd, secretary-treasurer; Claudia Holdaway, reporter; Sheila Chesnut, photographer; Linda Sumsion, pledge rep. Suanne Johnson, Sheila Chesnut, Nancy Nan-cy Zobell, Janie Snelson, Claudia Claud-ia Holdaway, Vickie Antonino, Vickie Voorhees, Lesley Thorn, Molly Stansfield, Carolyn Cran-dall, Cran-dall, Linda Bona, Karma Lynn and Peggy Kapp became active ac-tive members during the can-i can-i dlelight ceremony. Senior members in attend-i attend-i ance were: Marcia Shepherd, i Cindy Hardy, Marsha Miller, i Maxine Leetham, Donna Snel-i Snel-i son and Connie Weight. Those i not present were Luann Gus-i Gus-i tavson, Linda Child, Marianne Kunze, Heather Lawrence, Jo-' Jo-' an Parker and Phyllis Whiting. 1 The 65-66 pledges who served 1 included: Kathy Larsen, Shonie ' Moore, Eileen Snelson, Kathy ' Ericksen, Janine Farrer, Kath-' Kath-' leen Fietkau, Pat Peterson, ' Linda Miller, Linda Sumsion, 1 Sylva Haws, Terri Killpack, 1 Kathy Canto, Terri Chirsten-sen, Chirsten-sen, Vickie Averett and Becky Brereton. Later the newly elected of- ficers held a short meeting at . the home of Sheila Chesnut. ! Pictures were taken and the : business of the remaining1 month was discussed. A meeting of the entire club was held Thursday of last week at the home of Claudia , Holdaway. Sweater and sweatshirt sweat-shirt orders were taken and amendments to the constitution passed and year's activities were charted. |
