Heart ailment fatal to Mapleton lady Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, in the Mapleton Ward Chapel, for Mrs. Nellie Bunce Allen, 43, who died Saturday, at Utah Valley Hospital, of a heart condition. con-dition. Bishop Harold Gividen was in charge. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, directed direc-ted by Berg Mortuary. Mrs. Allen was born Nov. 14, 1921 in Mountain Home, Utah, a daughter of Irvin D. and Maud West Bunce. She married Boyd Allen May 18, 1941 in Moab. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mrs. Allen moved to Heber with her family in 1929 and (continued on page 12, col. 5) Heart ailment fatal to Mapleton lady continued from page one) moved to Moab in 1931 where she attended the Grand County Coun-ty schools. In 1948, she moved to Mapleton, where she had resided re-sided since. A member of the Mapleton LDS First Ward, she served as president of the Mapleton First Ward Primary four years. Mrs. Allen was also active in Relief Re-lief Society. Surviving are her husbaind, Mapleton; three daughters, Pamela Pa-mela Louise, Kathy Boyd and Angela Sue Allen, all of Mapleton; Ma-pleton; her mother of Springville; Spring-ville; two brothers, Irving Win-ford Win-ford Bunce, Moab; Joseph Carlos Bunce, Springville.
