Phil Clark will represent the 12th Ward; Carolyn Bird, 2nd; Shirley Atkinson, Maplet o n 2nd; Jeanine LeBaron, Mapleton Maple-ton Ward; Gary Richins, 11th; Cindy Oakley, 6th; Cindy Dow-haniuk, Dow-haniuk, 1st. The talks will be given under un-der direction of Robert Parker, Park-er, speech director. Music will be by the 12th Ward Choir and a ladies trio composed of Lenore Bills, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Tuttle and Beth Jensen. There will also be music by a string quartet, composed of Mary Bird, Leta Boyer, Alma Whiting and Elaine Rawle. Two prominent LDS Church leaders will be featured speakers speak-ers at the quarterly conference confer-ence of the Kolob Stake Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday, January 23 and 24, iin Springville. They are Walter Stover, member of the Welfare Committee, and Alta Miller of the Primary General Board. General sessions of the conference con-ference will be held Sunday, conducted by Stake President Ernest A. Strong, Jr., in Kolob Ko-lob Stake House. Elder Stover, a native of Germany, has served as a mission mis-sion president for the Church He is a Salt Lake businessman, and spends his leisure time adding to his art collection. Miss Miller has been in the teaching field for more than 40 years. She is now a supervisor super-visor in Jordan School District. Dis-trict. She has also been a teacher tea-cher in the auxiliaries of the church. A graduate of the University Uni-versity of Utah, and of Columbia, Co-lumbia, she has also attended several other similar schools. Special meetings for Welfare and Primary leaders will be held Saturday. MnA program The Sunday evening meeting, meet-ing, beginning at 7 p.m., will be under direction of the Stake MIA and will feature : talks by the winners of the |
