Show Meeting called to aid Jordan A meeting was held recently recent-ly at Memorial Hall by the Springville Committee on Children Chil-dren and Youth, with representatives repre-sentatives from the Jordan school area, to assist the latter in setting up a similar organization organi-zation as that of Springville. James Paramore of Orem, executive state secretary, was in attendance to participate in the discussion and to answer questions on the organization. Also attending were Wayne Simper, vice principal and coordinator co-ordinator at Bingham; Douglas Doug-las Brown and Floyd Barker, assistant coordinators. Each committee member from Springville gave a report on their special assignment to acquaint the visitors with the organization and its accomplishments. accom-plishments. Taking part were: Max Knight, who spoke on recreation; Shirley Thorn, adult influence; Floyd Tuttle, health; Howard Ivory, employment; em-ployment; Lewis Taylor, Teen Council; LaRell Johnson, education; edu-cation; Maxine Montague, public relations; Charles Bu-ssard, Bu-ssard, coordinator; Dr. Richard Rich-ard Miner, guidance. Mr. Johnson was in charge of the meeting. |
