I Daughter gives I luncheon to honor mother Honoring Mrs. Orissa Cel-ventra Cel-ventra whose 83rd birthday is today, her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Child was hostess at a luncheon party at 'a local cafe Wednesday, to which ten relatives rel-atives were invited. Among those present were Mrs. Zina Erlandson, a sister, and Mrs. J. Clark Elmer of Payson; Mrs. Ada Curtis and Mrs. Warren Pugh of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Maude Mcln-tyre Mcln-tyre of Mammoth; Mrs. Leola Ewlng, Mrs. Paula Jones, Mrs. Glenna Oldroyd, Mrs. Sandra Child, and the guest of honor, hon-or, all of Springville. Mrs. Thelma Clark, also invited was i unable to attend. j The table was tastefully dec- j orated with seasonal flowers I and following the luncheon, the group went to the home of Mrs. Child, where visiting was enjoyed and pictures taken. tak-en. Later in the evening, friends grandchildren and great grandchildren called to extend birthday congratulations to Mrs. Celventra. She was born and reared in Springville, and was the wife of Frank Celventra, who died some years ago. Mrs. Celventra is presently residing at 314 South 4th East in Provo, and friends who wish to call are most welcome. I.yla Ishoy of 5 Perrott Ct., Fairfax, Va., was in Springville Spring-ville one day this week to get genealogy concerning her grandfather, Hugh Lavelle Ruby, married to Martha Jane Nelson of Beaver. Her records rec-ords indicated they lived in Springville a number of years ago, but she was not successful success-ful in finding anyone who remembered re-membered the family. |
