MICHAEL REED HILL, the former Miss LaRae Diamond Dia-mond of Springville, making a new home in Spanish Fork. i Attractive Miss LaRae Diamond, Dia-mond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vesper ' Diamond of this city, added her name to midsummer mid-summer brides, when she was married August 8, to Michael Reed Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hill of Spanish Fork. Mays W. Anderson, bishop of the Sixth Ward, performed the ceremony at Kolob Stake House and a lovely reception followed. The bride was attractively gowned in scalloped illusion lace over bridal satin, designed with long tapered sleeves, fitted fit-ted bodice and scalloped neck line. Two large pleats in the back fell into a chapel train of satin. Her veil elbow-length, was arranged to a crown of seed pearls, and she carried a bouquet of pink baby carnations car-nations centered with a white orchid. Mrs. Larkey Valdez attended the bride as matron of honor; Shirley Luce, maid of honor and Barbara Jensen and Patricia Pa-tricia Beach, bridesmaids, and Terri Ann Whitney, flower girl. Their dresses were pale pink crystaline and they held colonial bouquets of white carnations and gamelia. Lynn Peterson was best man to the groom. In the receiving line were parents of the bride and groom, Mrs. Diamond wearing wear-ing a beige embroidered dress and Mrs. Hill, beige brocade. Both had corsages of pink gamelias. Greeting guests at the door, were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mc-Connell Mc-Connell and Mr. and Mrs. Dell Diamond. Renae Earley and Sylvia Lynn were at the guest register. Arranging the gifts were Mrs. Marvin Burrows, Mrs. Gary Wood and Mrs. Loren Sleight. Mrs. Eldon Bartholomew and Mrs. Edmund Peterson acted as hostesses and refreshments refresh-ments were served by Myrtle Martin, Carolyn Beardall, Ann Bartholomew, Claire Johnson, Jane Newman and Kathy Newman. The young couple is making Spanish Fork their home. One reason chicken is so cheap is that they can be grown now in 8 to 9 weeks as compared with 9 to 12 weeks.
