Show 4-H voter program slated CEDAR CITY A 4-H Voter Awareness Program will be conducted con-ducted Oct. 12 at Southern Utah State College. It will include all high school seniors from Cedar City and Parowan. The program is targeted at high school seniors who are or soon will be eligible voters. The program is labeled "voter awareness" because it is designed to make young Americans aware of their rights, privileges and obligations as citizens and new voters. Dr. Edwin Peterson, every effort is made to bring in state and local government officials to talk with the seniors. This year he plans to have the state auditor, Val Oveson, and representatives from other state government offices at the conferences. coordinator of the 4-H Voter Awareness Program for Utah State University Extension Services, instituted the program because of his concern about the large group of new voters, 18 to 24 year olds, who are not voting.
