Eighteen teams are vying for the championship cham-pionship and have been eliminated down to eight teams in semi-final play today. Two games tomorrow will determine the winners in the championship cham-pionship and consolation brackets. Monday's action resulted in a 23-5 victory for South Sevier over Panguitch and a 10-9 victory for Snows Canyon over Parowan. Winning pitcher for the Cedar City all-star team was Alan Pearson who only gave up two hits in the game and held the Enterprise ball team scoreless. Cedar City had a big first inning scoring five runs on two hits and an even bigger fifth inning scoring nine more runs on seven hits. Mike Lopour and Shawn Marchant doubled for the Cedar team, and Scott Anderson slugged a triple during an early inning in the game.
