Show DP. L ANCE WHETTEN Dr.Whetten speakerat Orthodontest Meet Dr. Lance L. Whetten, Cedar City orthodontist has recently received an invitation in-vitation to participate in the Research Section of the American Association of Orthodontists' 80th annual session to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 27. Dr. Whetten will present an overview of his master's thesis which was entitled "The Effect of Lateral Pterygoid Myectomy on the Growth of Isolated Condyles: Con-dyles: A Longitudinal Implant Im-plant Study in Young Rats." Dr. Whetten's invitation is among only 12 extended this ' year by the Council on Research of the American Association of Orthodontists which annually recognizes notable research in orthodontics or-thodontics on a national level. Dr. Whetten, the son of Loren and LaVeve Whetten of Cedar City, is a 1970 graduate of Cedar City High School. He graduated with high honors from Southern Utah State College in 1973, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in 1977 and finished his Master of Science in Orthodontics degree at Saint Louis University in 1979.
