Show Chnstensen Forum Speaker DAVID CHRISTENSEN The Winter Quarter Forum is scheduled lo- get underway beginning Tuesday, Jan. 8 when David Alma Chnristensen, director, International Curriculum for Seminaries and Institutes for the LDS Institute, 650 West Center . Street. Christensen, who will receive his master's degree from BYU this year, will address the subject, "Overcoming weaknesses." Christensen is a native of Provo, and attended and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He received his BS degree in speech and Dramatic Arts from BYU. " He has a wide experience in teaching serving as a principal and teacher in the seminary system of the LDS church. He has also served as curriculum writer for Seminaries and was a division coordinator in Brazil where he was sent to t organize the seminary and institute programs of the church. Christensen has spoke extensively as representative represen-tative of the BYU "Know Your Religion" series and at various Summer Youth Conferences and Stake and Regional youth firesides. He is married to the former for-mer Patricia Williams and they have four children. |
