Show four honored for adult education ' 1 f Four southern Utahans will be honored for their work In adult education at an open house Friday at Southern Utah State College. The public is Invited to attend the open house from 1-2 p.m. in the Old Administration Admin-istration Building, room 204. Sponsored by the Adult Education Edu-cation Association of Utah, the Cedar City meeting is one of four public receptions being held in the state to give recognition to people who work In the area of adult education. n in i -- Mel Osborn Daphne Dalley, Grant Es-plin, Es-plin, Macksene Jensen and Melvyn Osborne will be honored for their outstanding outstand-ing service to adult education. educa-tion. Mrs. Dalley is the coordinator co-ordinator of conferences and workshops at SUSC. Esplln, the Beaver County Extension Agent, is the area coordinator coordina-tor for the Cooperative Extension Ex-tension Service, Utah State University, for the flve-county flve-county area. Mrs. Jensen Is a teacher for the Adult Education Program for the Iron County School District. Osborne is the director of adult education and community com-munity school programs for Beaver Schools, Beaver C ounty School District. Light refreshments will be served at the open house. An AEAU Board meeting will be held at 2 p.m. |
