Show Hro permits needed Utah State Forestry and Fire Control started the statewide fire season on May 1st. State Forester, Paul Sjoblom, emphasizes that burning permits will be required re-quired when doing any open burning. A burning permit can be obtained from the County Fire Warden, County F Ire Department, or County Sheriff. Any permit that is issued must comply with the State Health Department Clearing Index. ' As conditions warrant throughout the fire season, additional regulations may have to be implemented. Future Fu-ture announcements will be made as to fire conditions throughout the state, as the summer progresses, Mr. Sjoblom stated. We must all strive to hold the level of man -caused fires to a minimum, mini-mum, and save our range and forest lands from fire destruction. de-struction.
