"An Evening With Mark Twain" is on tap for residents resi-dents of Beaver County this Saturday, May 7th, at Beaver High School Auditorium, beginning be-ginning at 8:00 p.m. Actor Larry Cantwell portrays the famous humorist in a 90-minute 90-minute performance, that is classed as one of the premier pre-mier performances of the Utah Rural Arts Consortium. Cantwell and "Twain" are brought to Beaver County by the BeaverCountyCivic Arts Council and the Utah State Division of Fine Arts. "Twain" is part of the continuing con-tinuing effort of the Civic Arts Council to bring the fine arts to Beaver County. Cantwell, a speech and drama instructor at Sky View High School inSmithfieldand formerly a teacher at Beaver High School, re-creates the "foxy" old gentleman through his use of make-up, costuming, and theatrical technique. Cantwell first became be-came interested in Mark Twain as a humorist after completing a masters thesis on the great author in 1972.
