Show Garrison Lake this Sunday for a run. Bud and Gen went down for a ride and thought that that was all right. Ray Okleberry lost a water truck last Sunday. It just turned over on its back and held its wheels up In the air. The poor thing will never be the same. There was a great deal of smoke in the direction of Baker CreekThursday afternoon. after-noon. The forest service was doing some control burning that got a little out of control con-trol for awhile. From what I hear, about 1,000 acres was burned off, but it was in need of it anyway. That's it for today. I hope I'll be able to catch the . mail. (Too late for last week) There's not an awful lot of news, but what I have I'll give you. Wednesday night the Lion's Club had elections and a special speaker, so the ladies were invited to attend, too. Jim Dalton, from the School of the Natural Order, was the speaker, and he told us of the school, the activities at Home Farm and some of the things they believe. be-lieve. It was a nice eve-ing eve-ing out for all those who attended. at-tended. Pat Gonder enjoys going to town or errands. Thursday she went to Delta to do a little of this and that, and went to a meeting of the Cowbells. Cow-bells. Friday she was headed head-ed in the direction of Ely and took me along for company. com-pany. Billie Osborne, Aleeda Dearden and LaRue Rowley went down to St. George Friday so they could go through a session at the temple. Pam Wheeler was experiencing exper-iencing saddle sores last week until she got used to the old saddle. She has been helping husband, James, move some cows. She certainly cer-tainly had a rosy glow about face and arms. Alan and Cecelie Hill held an open house Saturday in their new double -wide trailer. trail-er. They had a houseful enjoying their hospitality. Wayne and Mollie Gonder were in Ely Saturday to attend at-tend the annual meeting for Mt. Wheeler Power. Austin and Arvilla Williams, Wil-liams, Bill, Chad and I were in Milford Saturday night to attend the reception of Randy and Renie Williams. There was a program and dancing, and everyone was having a real good time. Bride and groom and family and friends were all beaming. Darwin and Jeanie Wheeler Wheel-er had company in the form of Jeanie's sister, her husband, hus-band, and children for a few days this weekend.
