All attended at-tended the Beaver -Milford basketball game and visited until late Sunday. Mitch and Shelly Gillins left Thursday to return to Alaska. They attended the Temple in Salt Lake early Thursday morning with Mitch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins. Gary Gillins, son of Wayne and Merle Gillins, celebrated celebrat-ed his birthday Jan. 31. Tim and Margie Marshall and family visited in Nevada Ne-vada over the weekend with Margie's sister and husband, Kent and Pam Swindlehurst. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Tanner Tan-ner were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson Gib-son over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ern Myers spent a few days last week visiting in Price, Utah. Dan and Eva Davis have returned home after spending spend-ing a few weeks visiting in Nevada. Dean and Donna Carter spent several days last week visiting in Caliente, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Dayle Mathews and family from South Jordon, Utah, visited here Thursday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin Wood. Dayle is their nephew. Mrs. Aletha Gillins and grandson, Ricky Gillins, are spending awhile in Midvale and Kearhs, Utah visiting with relatives. Jody Eyre was home over the weekend visiting with her parents, James and Renea Eyre. Jody is living in Salt Lake where she is attending school. Wendy Gillins and a girl friend from Canada were here from Salt Lake over the weekend visiting withWen-dy's withWen-dy's parents, Clark andMary Gillins. Ruth and Ned Daly visit ed here with their children on Saturday, Jan. 29. Visiting Bill and Renee Davis over the weekend was their son, James, who is living liv-ing in Salt Lake at the present pres-ent time. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Pryor and family from Ogdon visited vis-ited here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pryor, who are Jay's parents. Daisy Ruecsh of Hurricane was in town on business Friday. On Feb. 1st, Brett Makin enjoyed his 8th birthday. A party was held that afternoon and everyone had a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Griffiths Grif-fiths and daughter, Callie, visited with Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Griffiths Saturday and Sunday. Keith and Allen Dotson, who are both employed in Salt Lake City, visited their families over the weekend. Leah Ruth Hollingshead visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dalton for a day last week. Hal Pryor and sons visited vis-ited a few days with Harold Har-old and Jo Pryor. Vern Watson and family attended the National Wool Growers convention in California Cali-fornia and visited Grant and Blanch Pryor. Elis and Roween Neilson, who new make their home in Idaho, are the proud parents of a new baby boy. Rex and Kathy Brown of grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts. Also attending attend-ing were his aunts, Mrs. Ross Marshall, Mrs. Nettie Myers, Mrs. Lois Pearson and a cousin, Kalie Roberts. A wedding dinner was held at the Chuck-A-Rama Restaurant. Res-taurant. Attending the dinner din-ner was Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ron-ald L. Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Roberts of Salt Lake. Visiting over the weekend with their parents, Karl and Phyllis Truman, was their son Mark and their daughter, Kathy and husband Jerry, . who make their home in Salt Lake., A joint birthday party was held for Fay Marshall, Karl Truman and Clinton Hunt in Cedar City last week at the home of Clinton Hunt. Many of Effie Marshall's children and spouses attended and had a good time. Minersville Ward Sacra-m Sacra-m ent meeting was held Sunday, Sun-day, Jan. 30, at 6:00 p.m. Music was furnished by El-eanore El-eanore Marshall and Shirley Hollingshead. Conducting the meeting was Bishop Earl Limb. The sacrament was taken care of by the Aaronic Priesthood. The program was given by the Primary, both the stake and ward leaders lead-ers participated. Talks were given by Leo White, Bonnie Albrecht and Karren Gale. A skit was performed by the Stake Officers. Prayers were given by Charles Jameson and Lou Griffiths. |
