Show Becky Williams This seems to be the time of year when everyone is staying home and taking care of things that need to be done. There have been a few wanderings and one piece of very bright news. Perhaps one of the reasons rea-sons everyone is staying home now is to watch television. tele-vision. We now have three channels and are expecting the fourth in a few weeks. We can now sit in our homes and1 pretend we are in Salt Lake City, because the picture pic-ture and color are just that good. All of us out he re would like to thank those people who worked so hard to make good TV a reality. Bud and Gen Richardson were in Salt Lake last weekend. week-end. They were visiting Donna, Don-na, and Gen was able to get in on a good Tupperware party. Fred and Roberta Conde were also in Salt Lake last weekend. T hey we re the re on business, and came home Tuesday. Owen and Pat Gonder and two of their children went to Provo on their monthly pilgrimage pil-grimage to the orthodontist. Chester and Lorene Wheeler and Darwin and Jeanie Wheeler were in Salt Lake for a day or two last week to take care of business. Garrison school has a new teacher's aide. To show what a good reporter I am, I don't even know her last name, but her first name is Susan and the children seem to really enjoy having her there. LaRue Rowley went to Delta on Friday and Austin and Arvilla Williams were there on Saturday. James Wheeler and Owen Gonder had a meeting to go to in Delta on Thursday, so Pain Wheeler went with them and had a nice visit with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Latliel C allister. That appears to be the news from out here this week. I did forget to mention that Clyde Heath, the upper grades teacher in Baker, is in Rochester, Minn, at the Mayo Clinic right now. He has been having trouble with his back. We all hope that they are able to do something some-thing to help him. Have a nice week, and pray for moisture. |
