Show IOOF, Rebekahs have workshop, installation A joint workshop was conducted con-ducted for Milford and Beaver Beav-er Oddfellows and Rebekahs on January 22nd in the Milford Mil-ford Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Marv Randall Ran-dall of Ogden, Bruce Conde of Provo, and Mrs. Louis Bogh of Delta conducted the workshop on Oddfellowship. The workshop was attended attend-ed by fifteen members of the Milford Lodge sand five from Beaver. The group moved to the Hong Kong Cafe for a lunch of Chinese food, and resumed the workshop in the afternoon. Those attending from Milford Mil-ford were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Gustaveson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duffy, Mrs. Helen Cook, Mrs. MaeColborn, Mr. Gavin Weir, Red Wilson, Marion Walker. Warren Atkin. and John Easton. Attending from Beaver were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Willden, Harley Fothering-ham, Fothering-ham, Robert Brown, and Martin Green. On Monday, Gavin Weir was installed as Noble Grand of Milford Lodge 42. Grand Warden, Ted Bridge, acted as installing officer, with Warren Atkin, Garthe Banks, John Easton, Milt Pool, and Dave Coleman assistingwith the installation. Other elected officers installed in-stalled were: Marion Walker, Walk-er, vice grand; Jay Gustaveson, Gustave-son, warden; Dave Coleman, secretary, and Milt Pool, treasurer. Red Wilson moved to Past Grand. Noble Grand Weir appointed appoint-ed these officers for the ensuing en-suing year: Ted Rimpau, in- ner guard; Left Supporter to Noble Grand, Warren Atkin; At-kin; Right Supporter to Noble Grand, John Easton; Conductor, Conduc-tor, Joe Duffy; Right Scene Supporter, Roger Olpin; Left Scene Supporter, Clyde Griffith; Grif-fith; Chaplain, Bert Wy-naught; Wy-naught; and Outer Guard, Norm Lamb. Vice Grand Marion Walker Walk-er chose Garthe Banks as his right supporter and Leo Mayer, left supporter. |
