Show cess and her attendants with the help of the various county coun-ty princesses and attendants take a short skit or playlet about the nutritious and healthful goodness of diary foods and present it to most of the elementary schools in the State. Mrs. Coletti extends a special invitation to all dairy wives and all other interested women to participate in this year's activities. Dairy Wives Confab In Ogden Saturday Planning and preparations are well underway for this year's annual Utah Dairy Wives Convention to be held Saturday, April 20th, 1974, in the Student Union Building at Weber State College in Ogden, Og-den, Utah. President Donna Coletti, has indicated that this should be a great convention con-vention and is extending a special invitation to all dairy wives to be present. Utah Dairy Wives is an organization made up of wives of dairy procucers and any other women who are interested inter-ested in promoting the further use of milk through nutritional nutrition-al and good health programs. At this year's convention there will be workshops, a luncheon, group discussions, guest speakers and should provide an interesting, informative and enjoyable time for all. Mrs. Coletti indicated that the Utah Dairy Wives organization or-ganization has been growing rapidly in the past few years, ' mainly because of the interest and activities that are being provided for the dairy wives and for the informatve programs pro-grams they sponsor throughout the State of Utah. Part of their activities include the County Dairy Princess Pageant Pa-geant and the winners in the various counties then have the opportunity to participate partici-pate in the State Princess Pageant which has tradition -ally been held the first week of June and which is scheduled sched-uled this year for June 7th and 8th in Salt Lake City. Another part of the Dairy Wives' activities is the coordination co-ordination of a dairy school tour in the fall of each year where the State Dairy Prln- |
