Show to attend the two-day training Sept. 14 and 15 at the College Ranch Cabin. Students participating in newspaper work on the campus cam-pus Thunderbird will also be in workshop sessions Sept. 14 and 15 under direction of Advisor Ad-visor George Barrus and editor ed-itor Sallie Lee Williams of Milford. Saturday, Sept. 16, will be the final day for entrance tests to be given all entering freshman fresh-man students. The test will be used for counseling and place- ment purposes and will begin at 8:30 a. m. in the Old Main building. Orientation for freshman students will be held Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 18 and 19. Registration for all other former for-mer students will be held on Sept. 18 beginning at 8:30 a. m. Freshmen and transfer students will register Sept. 19 beginning at 8:30 a. m. Extra-curriculars will include in-clude the annual Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Chuck-wagon Chuck-wagon Breakfast Tuesday at 6:30 a. m.; Hello Assembly at 8 p. m. Tuesday, and the Welcome Wel-come Back at the College Ranch Cabin Wednesday from 4 to 7 p. m. CSU Starts New Year Activities Student leadership conference confer-ence will be the lead-off event for fall quarter at College of Southern Utah. Dean of Students Stu-dents Richard Gillies indicated that about 60 CSU Council officers of-ficers and a number of freshmen fresh-men students will be invited |
