Show SCS ANNOUNCES ANNUAL TOUR FOR BUSINESSMEN The Second Annual Beaver Soil Conservation Businessmen's Business-men's Tour will be held Saturday, Sat-urday, Sept. 16, starting at 7 a. m. This year's tour will feature a review of our wildlife resources re-sources and recent developments develop-ments and improvements of this resource in the Beaver district. Participants will assemble at the Fish Hatchery at 7 a. m. and inspect facilities and improvements. im-provements. Coffee, hot chocolate choco-late and doughnuts and eye-openers eye-openers will be served by the Beaver SCS. At 8:30 a. m. they will visit the state, school section near Birch Creek, inspecting brush control, tree removal, fencing, and range improvement. At 9:30 the tour will visit the Sheep Rock tree removal project for spring-fall deer range. They will arrive at the North Fork of North Creek at 10:30, and inspect the swamp area, which possibly is a potential po-tential fish pond and recreation recrea-tion area. Transportation will be furnished. fur-nished. Clothing for riding in an open truck should be taken. All Beaver County business and professional men are invited in-vited to attend. |
