Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goodwin . spent Wednesday in Orem purchasing pur-chasing fruit, and also a little pleasure trip. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers and daughters Nona and Donna Jean spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins. Mrs. Carlie Gronning has been employed at the Culver Store for the past few. days. Mr. and Mrs. Russcl Mayer and family have been in Arizona the past week getting their son Russel Lee situated in school. Mr. and Mrs. Baccus of California Cali-fornia are here for a few days seeing about their farm and enjoying en-joying a short vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Parley B. Fisher of St. George called on friends and relatives here last Thursday. Jim Sherwood is now employed em-ployed in Provo. Deanna Walker, a 4-H girl, was the lucky winner of the calf that is given away each year at the annual Labor Day Fair. . A new grandchild has been added to the family of Mrs, Irene Stewart, This makes 10 grandchildren grand-children for Mrs, Stewart. Mr. and Mrs, Lewis Stewart of Cedar Ce-dar City are the proud parents. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger over the week end were their daughter Joyce and her husband Bill, and ' Mr. and Mrs. Mick Straley of , Ogden, and David Alger of San j Francisco. I |
