Show Regional P.T-. A. Conference Scheduled Saturday at Beaver ! A Region 8 Parent-Teachers Conference Con-ference is being held this Saturday, Sept. 10, in Beaver. "Strengthen the Home and School by Being Informed" In-formed" is the theme of the conference, con-ference, the first session of which will convene in Beaver High School at 10 o'clock, . after registration from 9 to 10 o'clock under direction direc-tion of Beaver High School PTA. Flag salute and invocation, will be under auspices of Belknap Elementary Ele-mentary School PTA. Dr. Ellvert H. Himes, Utah State PTA president, will deliver the opening address at 10:10 a.m., his subject, "Be Informed Leaders The PTA Picture." Mrs. Charles L. Walker will follow with a talk on "Be Informed on Legislation." Following these talks will be a panel discussion, "How Can We As PTA Leaders Inform Public and Strengthen the Home," with Mrs. Ruth Vine Tyler as moderator, and, as panelists, Mrs. Tyler, Mrs. John V. Bollwinkel, Mrs. Hay Cannon, Can-non, and Paul Cracroft. The conference will adjourn for luncheon at 12 o'clock and reconvene recon-vene at 1 o'clock for council and departmental sessions, with the concluding general session to commence com-mence at 2:15 p.m. Mrs. Kumen Jones of Cedar City is district PTA president.
