Show J Beaver Lions Welcome Former Member; Push TV Power Line I Clarence Kirkham, former member of the Beaver Lions Club, was welcomed back by the club at last Tuesday's meeting meet-ing and immediately given a committee assignment by Lion President Brose Dalton. Major business was reports and discussion of the power line to the TV antenna site north of town. Committee Chairman Arlo Messingar informed the club that 50 residents of Beaver, including in-cluding two who did not yet have television sets, have paid I the voluntary $10 antenna tax 1 to finance construction of the ; line. Mr. Messinger stated that at present there are 206 TV an-etnnas an-etnnas in Beaver, and it is expected ex-pected that his committee will have contacted all TV users, requesting re-questing that they pay the voluntary vol-untary as,sesment, before the end of the week. |
