Show KOCKVILLE. Warren Cox and family of St. George arrived here on the 26th inst. to visit friends. The stock men are driving stock to Kolob for the summer. Stock have pulled thru the winter better than was expected. The proposed change in our mail meets with considerable dissatisfaction, as it will throw our mail from five to twenty-four hours later. Our school closes on the 30th inst. We have had but two terms of school instead of three, which is a great detriment det-riment to the young people. We are having nice weather, some clouds, but no rain; but unlike some other places we have an abundance of water. Everything is growing nicely, especially alfalfa, A party was given on the evening of the 24th inst. in honor of Ira DeMill, who will start soon for Provo to attend the B. Y. A. preparatory to going into the mission field. |
