Show Art and Charm Combined In Gold and Green Ball Art and charm were combined in the presentation Friday evening eve-ning of the M Men and Gleaner King and Queen and their cortege at the annual Gold and Green Ball, which was well attended. Service was the theme for the Ball, and this word in large gilt letters formed the fan-shaped background of the dais on which the King and Queen, Floyd Parry of the South ward and Verl Hall of the Center ward were crowned. Miss Adelia Hall read the script for the presentation which was written by Mrs. Pearson Corbett and Miss Linda Larson, with Mrs. Arnold McArthur, chairman of the presentation committee. . Trumpeter Trump-eter was Greg Snow, the crown-bearers crown-bearers were Brant Snow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Snow and Bowen Call, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anson Call, and the flower girls were Lenore Syphus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Syphus and LaRae Seegmiller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seegmiller. Attendants were Barbara Truman and Junior Larkin of the East ward, Delsey Woodbury, South ward and Milton Schmutz, Center ward, Glenda Morris and June Barton, West ward. Miss Morris stood in for Miss Evonne Cheney was was unable to be present. The floor show in charge of Miss Margaret Jones included the quadrille. presentation of the M Men and Gleaners in two official Gold and Green dances and a group of adults in changes from a waltz |
