Show T0QUERY1LLE Mrs. Rowcna W. Slack Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Roucl Glazier have mov-d inlo the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph iarlon. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Slack and family of Los Angeles spent the week end visiting relatives and friends. The I'.-T. A. held their Founders' Found-ers' Day program last Thursday evening at the sehoolhouse. Pres. Lucille Fish conducted the program pro-gram as follows: Talks hy Mayor Martin Anderson, Princpal Webb Harlier and teacher Ruth Savage; song, "Morning," by the Singing Mothers. The candle lighting ceremonies cer-emonies were conducted under the direction of Mrs. Dan Kleinman, after which lunch was served and games played. Mrs. Katherine Thurston of Salt Lake- City visited at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. K. Slack. She was enroute to her home from visiting her children in Phoenix, Ariz., and Overton, Nov. William Duffin of Cedar City visited Sunday at the home of his brother, Frnest, who has been ill for the past two weeks. Mrs. Jesse Naegle has been ill for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Iligbee and family of Cedar City visited Saturday Sat-urday at the home of Mr. Hig-bee's Hig-bee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. I igbee. The conjoint program Sunday evening was under the direction of the junior class. Miss Wilma Kleinman, advisor, gave the scriptural scrip-tural ' reading. A trio of Misses, Ruth Bringhurst, Dixie Kleinman and Laurel Jackson and a reading by Miss Evdean Beatty formed the program. |
