Show American Legion Holds Annual Election Lester Keate Post No. 90 of the American Legion held their annuals an-nuals election of officers at their meeting Monday evening, June 7. Election at this time is necessary to meet the requirements of the state department prior to the state convention which will be held in August. Outgoing officers of the Post include Arlin Brockbank, Commander; Com-mander; Ray Bentley, first and Neil Dee Keate, second vice president; presi-dent; Cleo Sullivan, sergeant-at-arms; Guy Hafen, Chaplain, and executive committee Henry Pickett Pick-ett and Ambrose Cannon. Elected for 1943-44 are Col. Freeman R. (Roy) Williams, Commander; Com-mander; Ralph Westover, first, Charles E. Pickett, second vice presidents; John Baughman, veteran vet-eran of the present war, sergeant-at-arms; Cleo Sullivan, Chaplain; and executive committee, Leland Hafen and Bert Hall. Again elected to succeed themselves them-selves are K. D. Williams, adjutant adju-tant and Mathew M. Bentley, finance fi-nance and service officer. Both men have held these positions for and extended period. Official installation of officers will be held at an early date. |
