Show I guess you have to be born and reared to it to really be able to keep up with this water turn business. And even then it seems to me that I have heard about some water fights between neighbors. neigh-bors. Anyway, as a first "yearer" it is proving a problem. Why, even Hazel, went wrong on it a while back and had me out at 4:30 in the morning with a flash . light looking for water that wasn't there. And when I came back and reported it she was sure that someone was taking our water, etc. Well, we finally settled down for the rest of the night. . . . The next day she consulted Mrs. Lee Esplin, and Roma explained it as a simple problem -it seems that she had forgetten to allow for the water turn going over into another day or some such matter. Anyhow, I was out at 4:30 on the wrong morning. . . . Now that Hazel isn't here, I have figured it out to my satisfaction being on the end of the line, any water that comes my way, is mine to use. The result has been that I haven't had to get out at any outlandish hours and run around with flashlight looking for water that isn't there. |
