Show SANTA CLARA Miss Laura Gubler Reporters The Relief Society presented a very .successful bazaar Friday afternoon. aft-ernoon. Kach member contributed an article and practically everything every-thing was sold, including a quilt. The proceeds, which amounted to seventy-two dollars went into the new chapel fund. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hunter of Boulder City, spent a week here with Mrs. Hunter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ensign Gubler. Miss Lucille Ilafen left Saturday Satur-day for Kscalante, to teach school this winler. Miss Merl and Ballard Bal-lard Ilafen accompanied her there, returning home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Laub spent several days last week in Salt Lake Cily visiting. Mrs. Joseph Graff was a vistor this week at Nephi, with her daughter, Mrs. Mark Sowby. Victor and Clayton Frei spent Labor Day week-end here with their parents. They have employment em-ployment at Santa Monica, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Condie and two children visited here several days from Salt Lake City. Miss Emma Loavitt of Los Angeles An-geles is spending several weeks here with her parents. Those, who returned to their respective places to teach school this winter are: Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Graff to Parowan; Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Stucki and child-dren child-dren to Cedar City; and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hafen and two children child-ren to Veyo. |
