Show P.-T. A. To Hold Founders' Day Program Everything is in readiness for this (Thursday) evening's P.-T. A. Founder's Day program, announces Mrs. Lola Bryner, club president, with Royden Braithwaite, head of the St. George Institute as guest speaker, to present the subject, "The P.-T. A. In Defense". Mrs. Pearson H. Corbett is program chairman. Other items on the evening's program will include a pageant, "Turning Back Time", presented under the direction of Mrs. Neida Lightner, and a special candle lighting service, memorializing the organization's anniversary. Special candle holders have been made for this party of the service by John H. Riding, and contributed free of charge to the organization, for which they express special appreciation. ap-preciation. Music for the evening will be in charge of Mae A .Pace and Leland Lamoreaux. The program is to open at 8 p. m., and will be followed by an informal social, in the Elementary school building. All members of the organzation and the public generally are cordially cord-ially invited to attend. |
