Show LaYcRKIN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter Mrs LaVell Hinton has returned from Salt Lake City, where she has been visiting friends and relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. Harris Merrill and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Gilford, all of Las Vegas, were week end visitors vis-itors here. Mrs Neil Haywood and daughters daugh-ters of Las Vegas, were guests at the home of her mother, Mrs. LaVell Hinton. Marie, the small daughter ot Mr and Mrs. James Dutton, who has been seriously ill for some time, is reported recovering. A number of our townspeople attended the funeral at Hurricane, Monday, for Jesse Roundy, who died at the Iron county hospital last week. While cutting wood last week, Sheldon DeMille had the misfortune mis-fortune to cut completely through his big toe. The toe was treated by Dr. Mclntyre, and it is hoped will heal without trouble, however how-ever Mr. DeMille will probably be forced to stay off it. for some time. He has been employed in Nevada, and was expecting to return re-turn to his work wnen the accident acci-dent happened. Mrs. Verl Dalley was a visitor in the vicinity of Richfield last week, visiting her' mother and sister. The first in a series of monthly genealogical meetings was held at the home of Mrs. Alice Gubler, Monday evening, with Leonard Hardy, ward leader in charge. News of the birth of a daughter daugh-ter on April 1st to Mrs. Frank Christensen of Pioche, has been received here. Mrs. Christensen is the former Mary Ann Leavitt, of Mesquite. Mrs. Christensen's sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Robin, son, also gave birth to a daughter daugh-ter on April 1st. The two girls |
